Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 7th, at Club SAW for a special collaboration between Riverbed and Qu’ART. With a joint vision to heighten LGBTQ2S+/queer artistic activity and broaden intersectional discourse in the Capital Region, Riverbed x Qu’ART are pleased to present literary performances from IAN MARTIN nd Rhiannon Ng Cheng Hin, and the musical stylings of John Ian.

Note: Gretchen Phillips is unable to join us due to a family emergency. Elaina Martin is unable to join us due to seasonal illness.

Rejoignez-nous mercredi le 7 décembre au Club SAW pour une collaboration spéciale entre Riverbed et Qu’ART ! Ces deux organisations ont la vision commune pour accroître l'activité artistique LGBTQ2S+/queer et d'élargir le discours intersectionnel dans la région de la capitale. Riverbed x Qu'ART sont heureux de présenter des performances littéraires d'Elaina Martin et de Rhiannon Ng Cheng Hin, et des tounes de John Ian.

IAN MARTIN

IAN MARTIN is a poet, a game designer, and a victim of bad data. IAN’s work has appeared recently in Bear Creek Gazette, NOT YOUR BEST, Touch the Donkey, Arc Poetry Magazine, and canthius. IAN has published six chapbooks, most recently EVERYONE IS MY ENEMY (2022). When not writing, IAN makes small video games and complains online. RHIANNON NG CHENG HIN

Rhiannon Ng Cheng Hin (she/her) is a poet and writer based in the Gatineau Valley. Her work has appeared in Brick Literary Journal, The Walrus, The Malahat Review, Grain, Arc Poetry Magazine, and elsewhere. She holds a master's degree in environmental toxicology and currently serves as Associate Poetry Editor with Plenitude Magazine. Her debut poetry collection, Fire Cider Rain, was released by Coach House Books in Fall 2022.

Rhiannon Ng Cheng Hin (elle) est une poète et écrivaine située dans la vallée de la Gatineau. Son travail a été publié dans Brick Literary Journal, The Walrus, The Malahat Review, Grain, Arc Poetry Magazine et ailleurs. Elle est titulaire d'une maîtrise en toxicologie environnementale et est actuellement rédactrice en chef adjointe de la poésie au magazine Plénitude. Son premier recueil de poésie, Fire Cider Rain, a été publié par Coach House Books à l'automne 2022.

Sa musique artisanale et ses textes bien ficelés vous invitent à vous concentrer pleinement sur le moment présent et à écouter attentivement pendant un petit moment. Né et élevé en Allemagne en tant que fille, John a dû faire quelques détours pour arriver là où il est aujourd'hui. Il a tendance à regarder les choses sous un angle différent ...
